Gaston Escudero, CFP®, CWS® was born in South America in the city of Santiago, Chile. Gaston has over 30 years of experience with developing relationships and assisting investors. Beginning his career in the banking industry, his calling to help individuals manage their money strategically became clear. After just five years, he co-founded Orange Capital Management to better fulfill that vision. His experience in the multiple facets of the banking industry enables him to provide complete wealth management for his clients. Gaston has unified his knowledge and commitment with traditional values to guide Orange Capital Management to one of the premier wealth management corporations in Orange County. Gaston holds the esteemed accreditations as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), a Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®), and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. In his pursuit of strategy to extend wealth, he became one of the first 1,000 financial professionals to obtain these wealth management skills as a Certified Wealth Strategist. This certification signifies Gaston’s ability to not only share academic information, but also real world experience to deliver on the promise of the strategic wealth management.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton. Gaston served as a member of The Representative Advisory Council for First Allied Securities, Inc. (FASI) in San Diego, California, this allows him to bring his background to FASI as an independent nationwide broker-dealer. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Financial Planners, Inc. (FFP), headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri. As a leader in the pursuit of strategic wealth management, Gaston is committed to assisting his colleagues in the financial planning industry by sharing his strong business knowledge as the featured speaker for numerous investment clubs and industry conferences along with many of his own seminars. His goal is to educate investors on various aspects of finance with a focus on retirement and estate planning throughout Southern California and the US.
When not in the Orange Capital Management office, Gaston can be found on the baseball field. He has spent 15 years coaching his sons. He also competes with the L.A. Angels sanctioned Halo Baseball Club in the Men’s Senior Baseball League. His team has won the 2011, 2013, and 2014 World Series which is held in Arizona. Gaston has been married to his wife Melanie for over 27 years and they have two boys, Gaston and Logan. Their oldest son, Gaston, was recruited to play baseball at Penn State. He has now joined the financial services industry as well. Logan, their youngest, was a pitcher at Saddleback College 2013 and 2014. Gaston enjoys surfing and his biggest thrill was tackling the 15-foot waves in Indonesia with his best friend. He feels very fortunate to be able to work with both of his brothers at Orange Capital Management. On the weekends, Gaston loves to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle but his favorite activity of all is date night with his beautiful wife, Melanie.
