Derek is an Wealth Management Strategist with First Allied Advisory Services and has over 25 years of experience in the financial service industry. He had been a Branch Manager for First Allied Securities for over 20 years and during that time has supervised many representatives before joining Orange Capital Management in 2014. Mr. McLean was also a co-founder of Freedom Financial in 1989 and has been a Top Producer for First Allied Securities for several years. Derek McLean possesses the following licenses to assist his clients; Series 6, 7, 26, 63, 65, and CA Insurance License #0795077.

Derek’s mission as a Wealth Management Strategist is to guide his clients in making wise decisions to accomplish their financial goals that are consistent with their lifestyle and needs. With each client he promises to accomplish this with “uncompromising integrity, trust and responsibility while making it a rewarding experience for everyone involved.”

Derek currently resides in Chino with his wife Terri and daughter Erin. He is active member of his community where he is a supporter of the I-Poly High School Foundation and frequently volunteers at his local church. In his free time he enjoys traveling, gardening, and is an avid sports fan.
